Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are effective immediately.

Working Hours

Clean Sweep Services’ normal business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. If you wish to be scheduled at any other day/time, the charges are usually higher and availability is not guaranteed. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

Service Cancellation

We ask that you please notify Clean Sweep within 48 hours for any cancellations. However, we understand that you or your family may become ill or some other type of family emergency may arise. You can reschedule to another day in this instance. If there is no call to cancel services there will be a $75.00 service fee assessed.

Continuous cancellations will cause your service to change to an on-call basis and your rate will reflect an hourly rate of $60.00 per hour, per professional. (ex. 2 professionals for 2 hours = $240.00).

If the customer is on a regular schedule and cancels (skips) a cleaning appointment, the next cleaning will be charged at a higher rate. There will be an additional $60/hour + tax charge for your cleaning. Your price is based on the frequency of service. The price for weekly cleaning is always lower than bi-weekly or monthly so if you skip your regular cleaning, it will take more time and effort to bring the property back to its normal shape. Last-minute cleanings will also require an additional $75.00 per hour + tax charge due to employee payroll and overtime cost. It would be best to be on a regular schedule.

Lockout

A lock-out fee can be assessed when cleaning crew wasn’t able to enter the property in case of:

  • nobody is there to let them in and a key/lock combination to the property was not provided;
  • door lock cannot be opened due to its breakage or poor condition;
  • the crew arrived, and the customer rescheduled at the work site with no prior notification to the office;
  • conditions of the house make it complicated to perform cleaning;
  • the payment was not left and cleaning was not done;
  • other applicable situations.

Rescheduling

If you ask to reschedule your service to a day other than your normal day, we will not be able to guarantee your normal time slot; however, we will do our best to accommodate your request.

If Clean Sweep Services has not cleaned your home in over a month, our first cleaning back will be billed on an hourly rate and Clean Sweep Services will bill you the extra time. The hourly rate is $60.00 + tax. We will bill your credit card for the additional time.

Weather Emergencies

If there is a storm or heavy snow day, Clean Sweep Services will contact you as soon as possible and will do our best to reschedule your cleaning on the next available date.

Late payment fees

A billing fee of $25.00 will apply if services are not paid by the time of completion. There must be a CREDIT CARD on file.

Accounts past 90 days will be sent to the attorney’s office, and you agree to pay all subsequent fees charged by the attorney for collection on the outstanding bill.

If we do not receive payment for a prior cleaning on or before the next cleaning service date, we will be unable to provide service until your account is paid in full. We hope you fully understand why this policy has to be implemented.

Property Access

Clean Sweep Services will take responsibility for keeping the key to your property or office numbered and secured. It is the customer’s responsibility to pick up a key if services are no longer needed. For your safety we do not return keys by mail. Customers must come in person to Clean Sweep Services’ office and present a Valid Photo ID in order for the key to be released.

Holidays

Clean Sweep Services will be closed the following days: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas Day.

Note: If your regular scheduled cleaning day should fall on any of the above days we will do our best to reschedule.

Cleaning Products & Supplies

Clean Sweep Services provides all cleaning products and supplies except for trash liners. Please note: If you have a specific product you prefer us to use, it will be your responsibility to make sure that those products are available and to make Clean Sweep Services aware of where said products are located. Examples: Bona Floor cleaner, marble cleaner, granite cleaner.

Service Guarantee

We at Clean Sweep Services guarantee our services. If a problem should ever arise please notify us and we will correct the problem. We ask that any problem must be brought to Clean Sweep Services’ attention within a 24-hour period. After the 24 hour time period, the problem will be given to the management. Management will use their discretion to decide the validity and how the situation will be reasoned.

If an item is not secured or was previously broken, please make us aware of this. If through normal cleaning procedures said item should fall or break, Clean Sweep Services will not be held responsible. We will hold ourselves responsible for any problems that we create.

Refund Policy

Since cleaning is a very personalized and subjective service, Clean Sweep Services cannot offer refunds to customers. However, we want you to be 100% Satisfied with Clean Sweep Services. Please use our 24-hour guarantee if you are dissatisfied with your services.

There are no refunds for gift certificate purchases.

Unfair Competition

Clients may not solicit our employees present or past to work for them directly in any capacity whatsoever and must agree to pay a $10,000.00 “finder’s fee” if you hire an employee away from Clean Sweep Services.
